We have a critical shortage of guns for our game. I ordered a lot from frontrank when funds freed up to match the infantry I'd slowly stockpiled.

The guns are inked on the left but not on the right. I tried using 'payne's grey' ink which was a bit dark, and some of Les' magic ink 'SOFT' that I made up from a recipe on dakka dakka...looks better.
Back to some easy stuff. I finally cut up wood dowel and painted them with crappy craft paint. This necessitated quite a few coats. These are measuring sticks for the convention game, General du Corp, which I have aspirations to run locally some day.
I picked up some half price malifaux 'sorrows' last year. I think they'll paint up SUPER quick with some of the new GW paints I grabbed. So that might be an easy win next month.
More random plastic preparation from the vast hobby mountain. I try and justify watching you tube with 'hobby work' by doing cleaning and assembly. Some days I don't even manage this clever dodge.

The napoleonics to the right are a bunch of British I've collected over the last 2 years. I'm slowly assembling some waterloo forces as 100days seems to be an easily accessible mini campaign. I suspect these guys got assembled in February rather than March but while I'm documenting......
Good to see you have been able to get some hobby time in. I always find that doing some organizing/cleaning provides a little inspiration if I have nothing that grabs my attention immediately.
ReplyDeleteThe Dave Cave could benefit from some organizing......
